MARLEN REUSSER: PORTRAIT OF A CHAMPION

MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Following her victory at the Elite Women’s Individual Time Trial at the UCI Road World Championships last weekend, Canyon is releasing exclusive photographs of Marlen Reusser ahead of the UCI Elite Women's Road Race this Saturday.

Reusser delivered a dominant performance to claim gold in the 39.2-kilometer time trial, finishing 40 seconds ahead of Great Britain's Zoe Bäckstedt. As she prepares to contend for the rainbow jersey once again in Saturday's road race, these newly released assets show the confident face of one of the favourites for the race.

Speaking after her time trial win last weekend, Marlen Reusser said: “With the new Speedmax, the bike and the cockpit feels much more integrated, like a complete system, all working together as one. You really notice it in the aero extensions: the bike stays incredibly stable, even on rough roads or when hitting small bumps. It feels fast, controlled and almost like it’s running on rails.”

Now she looks to take that confidence in her bike and body forward to the 180 km women's road race.

Reusser, shown here in the rainbow bands with her Speedmax CFR TT time trial bike, will race on Saturday in a Switzerland jersey with her Canyon Aeroad CFR road race bike.
