A new four-year partnership with L’Étape du Tour de France will see Canyon supporting up to 16,000 cyclists on the legendary Tour de France route to Alpe d’Huez.
Koblenz, February 3, 2026 – Canyon Bicycles, a global leader in direct-to-consumer bicycle sales, is proud to announce a new four-year partnership with L’Étape du Tour de France, becoming a Major Partner of one of the world’s most iconic amateur cycling events.
The annual event takes place this year on July 19, 2026 and will see more than 16,000 cyclists from around the world lining up at the start of the 34th edition of L’Étape du Tour de France to tackle a 170-kilometre course from Le Bourg-d’Oisans to Alpe d’Huez.
The 2026 event, which sold out in minutes, represents one of the most demanding and inspiring challenges in amateur cycling, offering a truly unique experience for amateur cyclists to live the race like a professional rider. And now, with this new partnership, Canyon and L’Étape du Tour de France will be able to realise long-held ambitions: to inspire fans to ride, to challenge themselves, and to experience cycling in one of its purest forms.
Whether through its teams or its event support, Canyon is at the heart of some of the world’s most inspiring cycling events. L’Étape du Tour de France now completes this commitment by connecting Canyon with the most iconic stage in road cycling — the Tour de France — and by enabling the brand to support riders across the full spectrum of cycling categories.
Through this partnership, Canyon is aiming to make L’Étape du Tour de France a benchmark for cycling experiences, drawing on the expertise and know-how developed over 13 years of partnership with Roc d’Azur CIC. This experience gives Canyon the know-how to deliver proven activations and experiences to support visitors and participants before, during and after the event.
