CANYON AND ZWIFT JOIN FORCES TO WELCOME THOUSANDS OF ROAD CYCLING FANS DURING TWO-WEEK MONTRÉAL POP-UP
Coinciding with Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal and the UCI Road Cycling World Championships, fans can find Canyon and Zwift events in two city-centre locations this September.
For immediate release: As the world's best cyclists converge on Montreal for the 2026 UCI Road World Championships, two powerhouses of modern cycling – Canyon Bicycles and the global online fitness platform Zwift – are joining forces to bring two weeks of entertainment to cycling fans, starting with GP Montréal and ending on the evening of the elite Men’s Road Race on Sunday 27 September.
Centred around two locations – L’Arrivée, a daytime pop-up space, and Siboire Saint-Laurent, an evening hub – the collaboration will provide a vibrant meeting place for fans from across the globe to connect through watch parties, ride-outs, quiz nights, and more.
With Fall now fast approaching, there couldn't be a better time to try Zwift. L’Arrivée will give cycling fans the opportunity to experience Zwift firsthand and to try Zwift’s flagship smart bike, Zwift Ride - the best Zwift experience just got better.
Beyond virtual riding, fans visiting L’Arrivée will be able to get up-close-and-personal with an incredible array of Canyon road and gravel bikes including:
- An unreleased prototype of Canyon’s Speedmax CFR TT – featuring in this year’s World Championship time trial events
- The currently-unreleased Grail giving North American audiences the chance to get up-close-and-personal with a brand-new gravel race bike from Canyon
- Canyon’s highly futuristic Predict concept bike, which uses artificial intelligence, camera and sensors to anticipate traffic behaviours and communicate with riders.
If those dream-level bikes aren't enough, Canyon will have further bikes – including additional Aeroad models plus the new Endurace and new Grail – all available for demo rides.
Visitors keen to see Montreal’s best real-world cycling routes are invited to join one of the near-daily ride-outs with Canyon, Zwift and Wahoo athletes and ambassadors – registration details will be announced via Grouprides.cc closer to the event.
Zwift and Canyon will be joined by Maurten and Wahoo at L’Arrivée, so be sure to stop by for nutrition, and to check out the latest in GPS head units and indoor trainers.
If your visit is more about relaxation than riding, L’Arrivée will broadcast all the racing action live on a big screen. Fans can catch every moment of the World Championships, from the junior categories to the elites, and time trials to road races. And for coffee lovers, grab a cup at the Ursae Café, in collaboration with La Marzocco.
Siboire Saint-Laurent - a downtown microbrewery - will host Zwift racing and a Shimano party as well as talks, presentations and a night which sees two women’s cycling initiatives – We Femmes and Watch the Femmes – joining forces to bring more women into the sport of cycling.
Visitors looking to test their biking brains can take part in a cycling-themed pub quiz at Siboire Saint-Laurent giving fans the chance to win coveted prizes or giveaways from Canyon, Zwift and partners including Maurten, Wahoo, La Marzocco and Ursae coffee.
The partnership between Canyon and Zwift extends far beyond the Montréal fan activation and the esports realm with multiple teams and activations:
- CANYON//SRAM Racing: The elite women’s racing team, which counts Zwift as a long-term partner, utilizes the platform as a core component of their structured training regime. Athletes from CANYON//SRAM Racing will be competing at the World Championships in their national colours – expect a few famous faces to drop in at L’Arrivée or Siboire in between their training and racing schedules.
- We Femmes & Watch the Femmes: We Femmes was launched at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift by CANYON//SRAM Racing to stand together with highly successful movements, like Zwift's Watch the Femmes, to bring thousands of community-level riders into the sport and elevate women’s cycling to new levels of popularity and participation.
- CANYON//SRAM Zwift Academy: This highly successful program continues to identify exciting talent from the virtual world, providing them with a pathway to professional road racing or triathlon careers.
- Junior Development: From 2027, Zwift will launch a men's and women's junior team backed by Canyon, aimed at creating a sporting pathway to take a North American rider to the top step of the Tour de France podium.
By blending Canyon elite-level performance with Zwift's online training platform, both brands are ensuring that cycling continues to engage and excite riders with an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone is welcome.

L’Arrivée opens on Saturday 12 September with a grand opening party sponsored by Shimano. It will be open for visitors from 10:00 until 17:00 until Sunday 27 September except for 14 & 15 September.
