CANYON AND FRENCH XC CHAMP LOANA LECOMTE PARTNER UP FOR CUSTOM LUX WORLD CUP CFR EDITION

Lux World Cup CFR Loana Lecomte edition is an XC World Cup-dominating, climb-devouring rocket, now in custom colours

Embargo - Thursday 23rd May 2024: Canyon’s Lux World Cup CFR racing machine is the bike of choice for some of the world’s best XC racers in their quest for glory. It’s a bike that keeps on notching up title after title – already this season Puck Pieterse claimed the 2024 European XCO title in Romania and Loana Lecomte won the 2024 French XCC and XCO titles – and now, in celebration of her achievements, a new Loana Lecomte custom version is available exclusively from Canyon.com.

With its colourway designed exclusively for the French superstar, the Lux World Cup CFR Loana Lecomte rider edition is a pure-bred racing machine, built for the World Cup racing circuit. The frame, painted creole pink and thyme with tillandsia purple Canyon logo, matches Lecomte’s CLLCTV Racing team kit and is still one of the lightest full-suspension XC frames on the market.

The bike has been designed for efficiency, performance, speed and all-round bling appeal. As well as being one of Canyon’s fastest-climbing MTBs thanks to the well-thought out shock position, rocker link and suspension kinematics, it’s more than capable on the descents with a slack 68.5 degree head angle for stability, confidence and control when you’re barreling down steep trails. Simply put – this bike flies.

Together with SRAM's new game-changing Rock Shox Flight Attendant automatic suspension system, including a 110mm of travel in the fork and 100 mm in the rear, plus a Rock Shox 125 mm Reverb AXS dropper post, it’s a bike that will have you powering uphill and motoring with confidence and speed on the downhill.

It comes complete with Canyon’s new CP0036 XC cockpit, SRAM’s XX SL Eagle 12-speed transmission and powermeter cranks, SRAM Level Ultimate Stealth 4-piston brakes and DT Swiss XRC1200 29” wheels, shod with Schwalbe Racing Ray (front) and Ralph (rear) tan wall tyres. Weight 10,94 (size M) and is available in 5 sizes (XS-XL) at 9,499 EUR.
