CANYON INTRODUCES LEASING AS A PAYMENT OPTION FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE NETHERLANDS

Leasing for Canyon customers in the Netherlands now offered by two partners, Lease a Bike and Cyclis.

Thursday 29 April 2026: Canyon is now making it possible for customers in the Netherlands to purchase its bikes through leasing arrangements. In collaboration with two partners, Lease a Bike or Cyclis, Canyon is introducing a new payment option that allows consumers to ride a Canyon bike for a fixed monthly fee, rather than making a one-off investment.

With the introduction of leasing in the Netherlands, Canyon is lowering the barrier for Dutch customers to own a Canyon bike, supporting those who are increasingly looking for flexibility and spreading payments. Additionally, Canyon is now able to provide offer bike leasing to the growing number of companies who are offering this benefit to their emplyees.

Leasing options are available across all Canyon bikes, from road bikes and gravel bikes to e-bikes, city bikes and mountain bikes. This allows Canyon to serve a broad audience, from performance-focused riders to everyday commuters.

Customers can easily select leasing as a payment option during the purchase process. Monthly costs vary depending on the model and configuration.

For example, a Canyon Citylite is available from approximately €72,10 per month, while a high-performance model such as the Aeroad can be leased from around €104,58 per month. In many cases, services such as insurance, maintenance, repairs and roadside assistance are included, depending on the selected leasing partner and scheme.

For the launch of leasing in the Netherlands, Canyon is working with Lease a Bike and Cyclis. By collaborating with multiple partners, Canyon offers customers flexibility.

Bikes purchased via leasing can be delivered directly to customers' homes, just like regular purchases from Canyon. Additional services such as New Bike Day and Collect & Ride will become available at a later stage.
