Germany’s Challenge Roth is a race like no other. It’s a celebration of endurance, passion, and community, where world-class athletes and everyday heroes chase their personal bests across 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and a full 42.2 km marathon through Bavaria’s rolling countryside.

Each bike includes a QR code offering customers the chance to purchase one of the coveted entry slots for Challenge Roth 2026 on 6 July, which sold out within minutes.

Inspired by the legendary laser show that lights up the night sky above Roth and captivates thousands of athletes and fans, the artwork of this Special Edition captures the pulse and energy of that unforgettable moment.

The design is based on the principle of the “Gaussian beam”. A focused stream of pure energy that expands with perfect precision and no loss. Canyon’s designers translated this idea into a striking visual language that flows through every line of the bike, expressing what the Speedmax stands for: efficiency, focus, and unstoppable speed.

The Speedmax CF SLX Road to Roth Edition is designed to shine on the legendary course in Roth. From the first pedal stroke to the last few meters on Solar Hill.
