Enduro riders Menzies and Melamed head up Canyon CLLCTV-Dainese. Barel, Borges and Cure for Canyon CLLCTV-Dainese-Pirelli E-Enduro team.
The world of Enduro and Trail riding is set to become even more exciting in 2024 as e-Enduro attracts some big names to the rapidly growing discipline, not least those who’ll be aiming for glory with Canyon.
The EWS is shaping up to be incredibly competitive and there’s no doubt that the E-EDR will win over new fans, but make sure to keep an eye out on smaller events like the Trans-Provence where Canyon bikes will also be put through their paces by elite-level athletes. Here’s a rundown of who’ll be riding Canyon’s Strive, Strive:ON and Spectral bikes in 2024.
Racing the podium-topping Strive on the EWS circuit for the Canyon CLLCTV Dainese team is ’22 Enduro World Champion Jesse Melamed (CA, pictured left) and young Enduro ripper Jack Menzies (CA, right). They will pilot the Strive, a bike that’s been engineered with input from pro riders to create the ultimate enduro race bike that is laser-focused on the finishing line and loves to be ridden fast.
Competing in the E-EDR series with the Strive:ON e-MTB will be José Borges (PT), pictured below, who transitions over from the Enduro team, plus Alex Cure (FR) and overall 2023 World Cup winner Fabien Barel (FR) who’ll ride for the Canyon CLLCTV-Dainese-Pirelli team. Inspired by the world of Enduro motocross, their Bosch-powered Strive:ON e-bikes are built and tuned for elite racing and podium-topping performances.
Away from team competition, the Canyon Spectral is ridden by Braydon Bringhurst (US) whose talent for bike control is a thing of beauty. And making molehills out of mountains on the Spectral:ON is Ines Thoma (DE) who combines family life on the road with a highly-competitive e-MTB racing calendar.
As well as Enduro and E-Enduro, Canyon also sponsors riders in Downhill, Freeride and Trials, XC and Marathon, plus Road, Cyclocross, Gravel and Triathlon. For inspiring racing content from the year ahead, give your favourite athletes a follow or keep an eye on Canyon’s MTB Instagram channel for another season of outstanding victories on Canyon bikes.
