When the clocks go back and the days get shorter, one thing matters most on the bike: being seen. For Canyon though, that’s not just a seasonal concern, it’s an integral part of its bike designs.  Within Canyon’s range of bikes you’ll find smart solutions and reliable lighting technology for a safe and confident ride, whether that’s before or after sunset.

Discover Canyon's ECLIPS System and five bike models equipped with integrated illumination technology that redefine performance and practicality after dark.

Intelligent power with ECLIPS

With its ECLIPS system, Canyon takes lighting to a new level. Here, light, energy, and design merge into a seamlessly integrated system that works so effortlessly, you barely notice it.

The Endless Charge & Lighting Integrated Power System (otherwise known as ECLIPS) combines a reliable SON hub dynamo, an internally mounted battery and control unit, and two powerful Lupine lights, one for the front and one for the rear. The control unit manages power distribution, keeps light flicker-free even at a standstill, and displays energy use and charge level in the Canyon App. At higher speeds, the dynamo charges the battery; when riding slower, the battery takes over. It’s a perfect balance of motion and energy. Learn more about ECLIPS here.

ECLIPS debuts on selected version of Canyon’s Grizl CF 9 and Grizl CF 8 gravel bikes – purpose-built for rides that go beyond the asphalt, long distances on various terrain, and nights where the adventure doesn’t end.

The LightSKIN H2E Flat handlebar sets a new standard for integrated lighting. Its 150-lumen LED front light is invisibly built into the bar and ensures bright illumination without visible cables or distractions. Powered by the main battery and easily operated via the FAZUA handlebar remote, the system provides clear visibility in city traffic. The rear light from LightSKIN follows the same principle: fully integrated into the seatpost, powered directly by the main battery, and shining on even when the motor is inactive.
