TOUR DE FRANCE STAGE 2 WIN FOR VAN DER POEL SEES YELLOW 'MYCANYON' AEROAD CFR SWITCH

Bike swap at Alpecin-Deceuninck as Van der Poel's win nets him a yellow Aeroad CFR; Philipsen now on green Aeroad CFR design as leader of Sprint classification.

Continuing Canyon's ode to world-class performance, Alpecin-Deceuninck star Mathieu van der Poel will now start stage 3 not only in the coveted yellow jersey as General Classification leader, but also on an Aeroad CFR looking resplendent in yellow.

Following the artwork seen on Jasper Philipsen's Aeroad CFR yesterday, Mathieu's Aeroad employs a unique hand-stamping effect to produce a 3D-like pattern on the frame.

Much like Philipsen's bike, van der Poel's Aeroad CFR features Canyon's aero seatpost, width-adjustable aero cockpit, Selle Royal saddle, Shimano Dura-Ace C60 wheels and drivetrain, and Pirelli P Zero 30c tyres, making it one of the fastest bikes in the pro peloton.

Van der Poel's win sees him take over the General Classification lead from compatriot Jasper Philipsen, who moves to wearing the green jersey as leader of the Sprint classification. And naturally his Aeroad CFR turned from yellow to green overnight.

Today's stage 3 between Valenciennes and Dunkerque is expected to end in a sprint finish, giving Philipsen another opportunity to prove the Aeroad CFR's unrivalled stage-winning characteristics so far in this year's Tour.
