To celebrate the Grand Départ of the Tour de France, Canyon Bicycles will be hosting a pop-up café experience in the heart of Lille on Thursday, 3rd July and Friday, 4th July.
Lille, the historic city in northern France close to the Belgian border, is expected to attract thousands of international cycling fans looking to get close to the racing action – and now they can step away from the race-day frenzy and join a community-focused event at the Canyon pop-up café.
Canyon will host daily social rides, product presentations (including Canyon’s all-new Grizl gravel bike), sneak peaks at the MyCanyon customisation programme, and the chance to chat with product experts about bike choices and tech details over a complimentary drink. And if you should happen to need some riding apparel and accessories, Canyon will have a small selection available to purchase.
Whether you’re a die-hard riding fan or just a casual visitor to Lille, we created our pop-up experience to inspire the cycling community. It’s designed to be a welcoming spot to take a breather, join in with a casual social ride or a product presentation, or simply to uncover more about the world of Canyon. Befitting the Tour de France, the pop-up store will feature elite-performance race bikes including Canyon’s Aeroad CFR and Ultimate CFR, both of which are raced by the stars of two teams at the Tour - Alpecin-Deceuninck and Movistar – as well as Canyon’s new Grizl Escape adventure gravel bike, which comes with an innovative new handlebar and lighting system.
Of course, no café would be complete without a selection of food and drink to offer. Drinks will be available daily, as well as evening pizzas.
Visitors can find Canyon at De Straat Café – 60 rue Négrier, 59800, Lille between 9:00-21:00h on Thursday 3rd and 9:00-22:00h on Friday 4th July.
