Canyon's expansion includes the following points:

1. New store in Munich

This March, Canyon opened a new store in Munich. This completely new concept combines the online and offline worlds in the city known for its many cycling fans. Now, bikes that consumers have found online or seen ridden by professional athletes can be taken for a test ride in Munich - and it will also be possible to buy these bikes directly on site.

At the community level, group rides, events with professional riders and brand ambassadors such as Manuel Neuer, Valtteri Bottas or Kai Pflaume, plus practical workshops and exclusive insights into new or limited bikes will be offered. In addition to the flagship stores in Koblenz - the home of Canyon - and Carlsbad, California, the Munich location will be the third store of this kind for Canyon.

2. Doubling the number of service partners

From now on, customers will have even more points of contact for bike services. By the end of 2025, Canyon will double the number of partners worldwide to over 600 locations where customers can benefit from expert maintenance and repair services, return items or handle warranty claims. In addition to valuable service offers, some locations will also offer an expanded brand experience with advice, test bikes and workshops.

3. Expansion of Collect & Ride

Canyon has also combined the advantages of online shopping with personal service through Collect & Ride. Since 2024, this service has been offered at selected locations as a hybrid sales concept, where customers can order their bike online and pick it up, fully assembled by qualified staff, from a partner nearby.

4. Working with the community

Joint tours with other cycling fans are a real highlight for every cycling enthusiast. Canyon is the meeting point from which new, exciting routes can be discovered: whether you are climbing a mountain together or cycling through picturesque landscapes - the shared enthusiasm for cycling creates unforgettable moments and deep bonds.

Nicolas de Ros Wallace, Canyon CEO

Based on the idea of innovation that has always been central to Canyon, this strategy is part of the mission to pioneer the cycling industry, promote cycling and continuously minimize digital purchasing barriers, which include, for example, the safe choice of the right bike to suit your own requirements, the lack of confidence in the ability to assemble a bike ordered online, or questions about quality and maintenance.

By expanding its brand world, Canyon is further breaking down these barriers and going on the offensive to get even more people excited about cycling.
