And because a special athlete in a special race deserves a special bike, Canyon presents a signature bike just in time for the Men's Triathlon World Championships. It was designed according to Frodeno's wishes and glistens with all the adornments necessary for world-class performances.

Limited-edition signature bike

Visualization is one of the most powerful tools available to us humans. With visualizing abstract relationships, the right mindset and the right image in your head, you can reach for the stars.  That's exactly what Jan does. When the going gets tough in a race, he visualizes a rocket taking off - and the rest is history. With a design inspired by the Saturn 5 rocket that put the first astronauts on the moon, Jan's signature bike visualizes the phenomenal speed of the Speedmax CFR and combines it with unique artwork.

Canyon Speedmax CFR Moonshot: The best. Better.

This masterpiece in bike design distils the essence of Jan’s world-beating collaboration with Canyon into a machine that has no equal.

The exceptional athlete and the Koblenz-based bike manufacturer have been working together since 2015. Both are united by the never-ending pursuit of progress and constant development to remain at the top. As a bike brand, Canyon has the claim to build the best bike. As a professional, Frodeno pursues his goals and dreams with unparalleled meticulousness, always looking for the next Watt saving.

Constant improvement is my greatest motivation. Discovering my own limits. It’s a kind of curiosity: how far can I go? And how I can use every setback as an opportunity to catapult right back up to the top? Jan Frodeno

Pro-driven innovation

Through intensive collaboration with world-class athletes, Canyon gets the opportunity to gather priceless feedback in the early stages of the development process – feedback that goes into creating the best bikes possible for Canyon fans around the globe.

Innovation Team Manager Wolfgang Kohl on the partnership that changed triathlon forever:

Working with an athlete like Jan, who demands 110% from himself and all the engineers, has been truly inspirational for us all. By constantly pushing each other towards the same goal – to constantly take the bike to an even higher level – an incredible collective synergy emerged, culminating in the benchmark product that the Speedmax is to this day. Wolfgang Kohl, Innovation Team Manager

Unique artwork combined with high-end components

With a series of stellar graphic details designed with Jan himself, the bike proudly tells the story of the GOAT’s incredible triathlon career. With a mission patch featuring three haku lei flower braids, the Great Wall of China, and his motivational mantra, “Conceive. Believe. Achieve.”, plus three timeless Frodeno Kona quotes placed around the frame, this bike is a testament to true greatness.

In addition, the bike – as befits a model of the CFR platform – is equipped exclusively with components from the top shelf. The bike comes with a SRAM RED eTap AXS shifting groupset including a Quarq Powermeter, which is seamlessly integrated into the 50-tooth aero chainring, and ZIPP 858 NSW Hookless wheels with their undulating rim shape to reduce drag to an absolute minimum, ensuring full acceleration and supreme efficiency.

A special highlight is the cockpit. It is equipped with the Pro Monogrip, which was developed in collaboration with Frodeno and offers superior aerodynamics. In addition, there is the Pro Armrest Upgrade Kit, which provides superior comfort and grip, especially on long rides, due to its generous contact surface.

The Canyon Speedmax CFR Moonshot is a tribute to the unique career of the greatest triathlete of all time, equipped with absolute top components and maximum adaptability for all triathletes in search of uncompromising performance.

Yours from September 6
