The new Canyon.HQ is a centre for innovation, creativity, inspiration and collaboration. From the first step into the building, the displayed bikes and jerseys in the foyer recall milestones from Canyon's history and highlight the performance mindset behind the bikes. Modern offices with 300 fully equipped workstations, inspiring open-space areas and meeting rooms offer plenty of space for creative collaboration and exchange. In the Innovation Lab, product developers and engineers work on the latest technical inventions. But the rest of the Canyon crew can also contribute ideas here. The Innovation Lab is designed to leverage the curiosity, cycling enthusiasm and knowledge of the entire Canyon crew as a driver of innovation.

Understanding sustainability as a holistic and company-changing issue
Constructing the new building, Canyon relied on the latest energy and climate standards, thus fulfilling its claim to understand sustainability as a holistic and company-changing issue. The heating system features air/heat pumps, which draw heat from the ambient air with the support of a photovoltaic system and feed it into the building. Three generously dimensioned ventilation systems have a heat exchanger for heat recovery. Highest energy standards are also applied to other global Canyon locations: For example, all Canyon locations in Germany and the USA are supplied with 100 percent electricity from renewable sources.

Promoting employee well-being and strengthening the Canyon spirit
At Canyon.HQ, the focus is also on the well-being of employees and on strengthening the Canyon spirit. In the large, modern staff bistro, regional organic products are used for cooking. The vegetarian and vegan meals at subsidized prices are restaurant quality. The bistro itself is designed as a place to meet: In a relaxed atmosphere, employees from different departments meet for a causal exchange during breakfast, lunch or a coffee. Conversations and nurturing of the Canyon spirit continue during the weekly after-work employee rides, where the latest models from the staff bike pool can be tested on the road and trails.
Around 1,400 employees currently work at the Corporate locations around Koblenz (Germany) and Amsterdam (Netherlands), as well as in Carlsbad (USA) and the 14 international partner companies in Europe and worldwide. The new Canyon.HQ is located in Koblenz next to the Canyon showroom, where visitors from all over the world can experience Canyon bikes and gear up close. More Canyon experience and customer service is also available in the Carlsbad showroom (California, USA) and at the Factory Service location in Belgium.
Canyon has signed a historic deal with Mathieu van der Poel, one of the world's best-ever riders, thereby confirming the long-term future between the Dutch athlete and his bike brand of choice.
