KOBLENZ, 20 JANUARY 2022 | FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – For the second time in a row, Canyon Bicycles GmbH have received the Top Employer Award in Germany. The award is presented by the Dutch Top Employers Institute to companies that place their employees at the centre of their business activities, and offer an outstanding environment for working and personal development.
The 2022 award comes as Canyon are doubling down on their ongoing efforts in the areas of fair working conditions and sustainable employee development. The organisation’s ambition is to create a motivating, future-oriented working environment, and open, passionate global corporate culture. In addition, Canyon are focusing on further building and expanding on the company’s teams and talent.
After prior success in 2021, Canyon Bicycles GmbH are now receiving the Top Employer Award in Germany for the second time in a row. Every year, the Top Employers Institute, as the world's leading provider of certification of outstanding employee conditions, examines companies in over 100 countries for their credentials as top-level employers. The participating companies are surveyed on the basis of their statements in a total of six overarching HR dimensions and 20 HR areas, such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Wellbeing, and Diversity & Inclusion.
Headquartered in Koblenz, Germany, Canyon Bicycles GmbH currently employ around 1,000 people in a variety of divisions in Germany alone, including: Development and Design, Marketing and Sales, Production and Logistics, Product Consulting and Technical Service, Finance, and IT. There are a further 200 employees across 14 international partner markets, as well as at Canyon USA.
Canyon are also further expanding their HR structures and employee development activities on an international scale. With the appointment of Jana Wieser in the role of Global HR Director in January, Canyon’s global development, corporate culture, and international organisation are set to go from strength to strength.
