GO LONG: CANYON LAUNCH ALL-NEW ENDURACE CFR AND CF SLX ENDURANCE BIKES

EMBARGOED UNTIL 15 AUGUST 2023, 11:00 (CEST) — First introduced in 2014, the Canyon Endurace has been a reference in the category of endurance bikes for almost a decade.  Now, the all-new Endurace CFR and CF SLX ranges are here, taking the Endurace’s signature speed and benchmark compliance to a whole new level, and adding in a fine-tuneable fit and sleek integration to enhance every ride.

The outcome: a new generation of endurance bike, made to make distances disappear. 

Proven in the World Tour, Canyon’s Aeroad CFR and Ultimate CFR represent the pinnacle of modern road race bike design. Now, for the first time ever, the Endurace CFR makes their engineering excellence available in an endurance bike.

Constructed from the highest grades of carbon for class-leading stiffness-to-weight and equipped with exclusively top-line componentry, the Endurace CFR is the fastest endurance bike Canyon have ever made. 

For a fit that’s simple to adapt, the Endurace CFR and CF SLX feature Canyon’s CP0018 Aerocockpit. With 40 mm of width and 15 mm of height adjustment with zero cutting required, attaining the perfect fit has never been easier. 

Peace of mind on every ride, the Endurace’s LOAD Top Tube Storage neatly stows vital tools away. The neoprene Tool Sleeve houses the Canyon 3-in-1 Minitool, a CO2 cartridge and Canyon Slim Tyre Levers. 

Wider tyres at lower pressures deliver more speed, grip, and comfort, with better puncture protection when run tubeless. To reap the benefits, the Endurace combines 30 mm front and 32 mm rear tyres with wide, tubeless-ready rims – with 35 mm of clearance for riders who want to go even wider. 

Comfort is the Endurace’s hallmark, and the new Endurace pulls out all the stops to create the smoothest ride ever from a Canyon road bike. Most notably, all models feature Canyon’s groundbreaking S15 VCLS 2.0 comfort seatpost – an icon in modern bike design, this seatpost’s beautifully simple carbon leaf spring construction flexes up to 20 mm, delivering incredible compliance in an elegant, lightweight package. 

With a range of aerodynamic enhancements – cockpit integration, narrower head tube, sleeker forks, and a more slender down tube developed in partnership with aero experts Swiss Side – the new Endurace saves a significant 7 watts over the previous generation at 45 km/h, taking riders further for less effort.
