Celebrating a decade of daring to be different, CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto have unveiled a bold new kit design for their women’s elite road cycling team and development team.
EMBARGOED UNTIL 11:00 am, Wednesday 17 December 2025: Following their tradition of stand-out kit designs – which began with their instant classic Interstellar design, followed by Astral Burn and its dynamic weather patterns, Harmonic Riff which echoed the sounds of the peloton, and last year's Infinitum which stood for the energy flow riders experience in a race – new for 2026, celebrating 10 years of the team’s existence, comes Luminous, the latest CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto kit.
After a decade of illuminating the peloton, not just through victories, but through vision, CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto has boldly led the charge of transformation, sparking crucial conversations on diversity, pushing performance boundaries, and redefining design. They’ve never followed the path, they’ve always been the light that blazes it.
Luminous, which comes from the hand of designer Mckenzie Sampson, represents the way CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto shines a light on the sustainable development of women’s cycling, giving inspiration to riders from around the world.
Mckenzie Sampson: "I’ve always found CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto to be an aspiring light within the peloton. They’re a team that gives a unique platform to a diverse set of riders across the globe to get their big break in cycling. To visually illustrate that sense of light and hope, we wanted the kit design to be bold yet convey the right balance of contrasting light, unique patterns, and rich saturated moments of colour."
The design itself draws on a bold colour infusion, taking a dark purple base colour merged with a turquoise, pink, coral and red colour palette to create a unique light refraction effect.
Beth Duryea of CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto: "In our 10th anniversary, we’re returning to our roots with a kit design that represents what we want to be: a beacon for talented bike racers and an inspiration for riders across the world."
The kit will make its debut this year on the shoulders of CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto’s Zoe Backstedt, who is expected to return to racing action on 1st January 2026 at the X2O Trofee Baal - GP Sven Nys.
Other Women’s World Tour riders confirmed for CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto in 2026 include: Wilma Aintila, Zoe Bäckstedt, Neve Bradbury, Chiara Consonni, Tiffany Cromwell, Justyna Czapla, Chloé Dygert, Nastya Kolesava, Rosa Klöser, Maria Martins, Antonia Niedermaier, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney, Soraya Paladin, Agnieszka Skalniak-Sójka, Maike van der Duin and Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig.
The elite racing team is underpinned by CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto’s development team, which consists of up-and-coming riders including recent new signing, 18 year-old Tsige Kahsay Kiros from Ethiopia. Other development team riders include Sophie Alisch, Erja Bianchi, Valentina Corvi, Emily Dixon, Jule Märkl, Joëlle Messemmer, Awen Roberts and Weronika Wąsaty. Further CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto development riders will be announced before the start of the 2026 season.
The new 2026 kit will be available to purchase from Canyon in Spring 2026. The team will also see their Aeroad CFR race bikes adopting the Luminous artwork, which will also be available to purchase exclusively from Canyon.com or the Canyon App.
