Double rainbows for Canyon as Team Denmark and Albert Torres of Spain win gold in the UCI Track Cycling Team Pursuit and the Men's Omnium respectively.
Monday 27th October 2025: Santiago's Velódromo Peñalolén was the venue this year as Chile hosted the UCI Track Cycling World Championships and it became yet another velodrome where Canyon's Speedmax CFR Track bike reigned victorious. Following on from World Championship successes in Glasgow 2023 and Ballarup in 2024, the Speedmax CFR Track bike once again delivered.
The Danish men’s team, featuring Tobias Aagaard Hansen, Niklas Larsen, Frederik Rodenberg and Rasmus Søjberg Pedersen, defended their World Champion title in Team Pursuit, continuing their golden streak that started with the Speedmax CFR Track's introduction in 2023.
Meanwhile Movistar's Albert Torres took gold for Spain in the Men’s Omnium after a nail-biting race and an emotional conclusion.
Further podium places came for Canyon riders including Rasmus Pedersen (Denmark), earning silver in the Individual Pursuit, Amalie Dideriksen (Denmark) claiming silver in the Scratch race and bronze in the Omnium, and Chloé Dygert (USA, Canyon//SRAM zondacrypto) and Anders Johnson (USA) both landing bronze in the Individual Pursuit. Plus the Danish duo Larsen and Leth also took third in the Madison, rounding out a strong showing for Canyon-supported riders.
Canyon's Speedmax CFR Track bike is not only the most expensive bike in Canyon's line-up, but also the bike that epitomises the Canyon Factory Racing approach to performance and innovation. It is the culmination of Canyon's years-long relentless pursuit of speed. It took 442 supercomputer runs, 312 wind tunnel analyses and 155 hours of track testing to produce this one game-changing bike.
