RISSVEDS' RESULT: LUX WORLD CUP SCORES WORLD CHAMPS WIN

New XCO World Champion Jenny Rissveds wins on Canyon's Lux World Cup CFR using Canyon Tempr CFR off-road cycling shoes

Saturday 13 September 2025: CANYON CLLCTV's Jenny Rissveds made light work of the elite XCO (Olympic cross-country) race in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, taking gold with a commanding performance from the get-go.

Rissveds powered away from the field to build an early lead as part of a front trio. In a nail-biting, yo-yo battle over the 7-lap, 3.8km course, it was Rissveds who reigned supreme, finally consolidating her lead in the final lap to secure an 18-second victory and her first rainbow bands.

The win caps a fantastic period of form for Rissveds who took World Championship silver in the short track race earlier this week, adding to her double XCO and XCC win at the Les Gets World Cup round in August, and the XCO and XCC European Championship titles she claimed in July.

For the World Championships win Rissveds' was riding her sub-11kg Canyon Lux World Cup CFR, equipped with SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission and Rockshox SID suspension, decked out in a custom blue and yellow colour scheme to match the Swedish flag.

She powered her Lux World Cup to victory with a pair of Tempr CFR Off-road shoes, Canyon's pro-level platforms for summoning the speed to succeed. Tempr CFR cycling shoes combine a sock-like construction with specially-developed fit and closure technology to boost your ability to drive stronger pedal strokes for longer.

As well as Jenny's gold medal the CLLCTV team are also celebrating a World Championship bronze medal in the U23 category for reigning U23 European Champion Valentina Corvi.

Corvi and Rissveds CFR XC race bikes come from Canyon's Factory Racing development arm, which is designed to provide athletes with next-level ride performance and a no-compromise approach to innovation, something Rissveds, as well as Puck Pieterse at the 2024 XC World Championships, used to devastating effect when it mattered most.
