This summer, the world’s most iconic cycling events return: the Tour de France (July 5th – July 27th) and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (July 26th – August 3rd).
Millions will watch the drama unfold with epic breakaways, gruelling climbs and photo-finish sprints. Among the peloton, athletes from Alpecin-Deceuninck, Movistar, Fenix-Deceuninck and CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto will turn heads with custom-painted MyCanyon bikes – bringing together elite performance and personal style.
The men’s Tour de France kicks off in Lille on July 5th and, after 21 stages, 3,338 kilometres and 52,500 meters of elevation, finishes in Paris on July 27th. As one race ends, the women’s Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift begins – it’s fourth edition spans nine stages from July 26th to August 3rd, covering 1,165 kilometres and 17,240 meters of climbing – it’s a test of strength and strategy and a sign of the continuous rise of women’s cycling.
In 2025, Canyon supports four elite teams at the Tour. Alpecin-Deceuninck lines up with one of the most explosive sprint squads in the men’s peloton – led by green jersey contender Jasper Philipsen and Mathieu van der Poel, former world champion and multi-day yellow-jersey wearer. Meanwhile, the men’s Movistar Team focuses on the podium in the general classification, with climbing talent ready to take on the high mountains.
At the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto returns as the defending champion after a historic win with Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney in 2024. The team faces exciting competition from Fenix-Deceuninck’s rising star Puck Pieterse and the women’s Movistar Team’s Marlen Reusser, fresh off a dominant performance at the Tour de Suisse Women.
Each stage is a new challenge – for riders adapting to tactics and terrain, and for their bikes, which must deliver peak performance in all conditions.
Canyon’s CFR – Canyon Factory Racing – machines are at the heart of every attack and stage win, made to meet the demands of each race scenario. For steep climbs and technical descents, riders may turn to the Ultimate CFR – an ultra-light, responsive bike built to handle the terrain of the Alps and Pyrenees.
In the race against the clock, the Speedmax CFR TT delivers maximum efficiency and control, helping riders gain crucial seconds that can make all the difference.
But for most of the stages, when speed is the name of the game, the Aeroad CFR comes into play. Canyon’s most aerodynamic bike, designed to dominate high-speed finishes and full-gas attacks.
This year, some riders won’t just be fast – they’ll stand out. Selected Canyon athletes will take to the start line on custom-painted MyCanyon Aeroad CFR bikes: performance machines reimagined through a lens of personal identity and artistic vision. From the bold looks of the Opus series, designed by visual artists Elena Salmistraro and Felipe Pantone, to the deep-space gradients of the Mano concept or the shimmering finishes of Fabrio, each bike brings individuality to the world’s biggest stage.
Pro-athletes riding MyCanyon Aeroad CFR bikes include Mathieu van der Poel, Jasper Philipsen, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney, Ricarda Bauernfeind, Liane Lippert, and many more.
More than race tools, CFR bikes are the result of a deep collaboration between Canyon’s engineers and the riders who push them to the limit. Every test ride, every data point, every rider insight contributes to the next evolution of design. CFR is Canyon’s top-tier performance programme: a platform where bold ideas are tested in real race conditions and shaped by those who live them from the saddle.
At the Tour, this partnership thrives. It’s where performance meets purpose – and where CFR bikes belong.
