In recognition of an incredible career, Canyon presented recently retired Annemiek Van Vleuten with a special edition of its latest Aeroad CFR road bike at the launch event for the brand’s latest Factory Service location in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
After Annemiek van Vleuten came onto the scene 14 years ago, women's cycling changed forever. Canyon presented Annemiek with this custom-built Aeroad CFR to celebrate her victories, performances, and positive influence in cycling.
Annemiek’s palmarès marks her out as one of the best athletes of her generation. After signing with Movistar and switching to riding Canyon bikes in 2021, she made history by winning the Tour de France Femmes, Giro Donne and Vuelta Femenina as well as the Olympic Games Time Trial and Road World Championship.
Her stunning new Aeroad CFR's paint job is based on the jersey colours from her Grand Tour trilogy. The design is topped off with the rainbow bands to signify Annemiek's status as a world champion.
It’s not just Annemiek's Aeroad CFR's paint job that stands out. Its specs are attractive too. The Aeroad’s fully integrated cockpit guarantees super clean optics and reduced drag and, thanks to its cutting-edge frame design, the Aeroad is one of the fastest bikes in the pro peloton. The crisp and ultra-reliable SRAM Force AXS groupset is the cherry on top.
A beautiful bike, built for a brilliant rider, in honour of her trailblazing victories. The Canyon Aeroad CFR with a SRAM AXS build is available at canyon.com, currently priced at 8,939 EUR.
