KOBLENZ, GERMANY; EMBARGOED UNTIL SAT, 10 SEPTEMBER 2022, 11 AM (CEST) — Canyon Bicycles, world-leading direct-to-consumer bike manufacturer, are proud to announce a new way for customers in Belgium to interact with the company.

Canyon’s latest customer-facing workshop environment is opening on Saturday, 10th September in Rotselaar near Leuven, which comes in addition to the brand’s headquarters in Koblenz, Germany and its technical service centres in 15 global territories.

Known as the Canyon Factory Service concept, customers will be able to drop off bikes for any repairs or maintenance with a while-you-wait service or a collection service available. On top of that, customers also have the possibility to take advantage of Canyon’s New Bike Day experience, offering one-on-one sessions with a specialist who can explain all the features of the new bike including a basic bike fitting.

Canyon Belgium Manager Anthony de Groeve: “We believe in being the most innovative and inspiring bike brand in the world, building the best bikes and enabling unforgettable experiences by bike. The best way that we can achieve that is by having a direct connection with our customers and welcoming them into our world. That’s why we are rolling out our Factory Service Concept.”

“Servicing will be a central part of that concept – from drivetrain tune-ups to e-bike settings adjustments, we’re happy to help. But more than that, we also welcome anyone who wants to get advice about our bikes and their innovations, or to hear about the global test events we organise. We encourage anyone needing servicing, repair, consultation or advice, or simply anyone who wants to experience part of the Canyon world, to visit our friendly team in Rotselaar.

The Factory Service Concept stands in addition to Canyon’s Experience Partners, such as Bikefitting Campe in Maldegem (Belgium), who offer test rides on Canyon bikes, and Canyon’s Affiliate Service Partners, who are trained to deal with maintenance and repair on Canyon’s broad range of road, mountain, gravel and urban bikes.

Canyon’s Belgian office employs 17 people in technical and servicing positions. It can be found at: Wingepark 16, 3110 Rotselaar and is open between 9:00-12:00 & 13:00-17:00 from Monday-Saturday. Visitors are welcome upon appointment (link to form on or they can walk in for smaller repairs. Call on +32 16 98 03 99 to guarantee a service slot.

2. FAQ: Will further Factory Service Concepts be developed?

We see the Factory Service Concept as a way to provide personal service and make a strong personal connection with our customers, much like we can do at our head quarters in Koblenz. Whilst we don’t have exact locations to announce at present, we are planning for additional Factory Service locations, matching our ambition to provide a customer-centric approach to bike set-up, servicing and advice.
