ULTIMATE LTD: CANYON LAUNCH TWO SPECIAL-EDITION BIKES WITH UNIQUE ARTWORKS

It’s an incredible success story driven by world-class expertise – with its incredible stiffness-to-weight ratio, the Ultimate has represented the cutting edge of Canyon’s lightweight engineering over four generations since its original release.

And now, Canyon are presenting two brand-new exclusive Ultimate Limited Edition models – each available in a limited run of only 50 bikes – that bring together the Ultimate’s classic road racing performance, Canyon’s famous design DNA, incredible artworks, and super-clean premium finishes applied by hand in Germany. All into two unique road racing packages combining class-leading speed with stunning style.

With its striking raw carbon aesthetic, the Ultimate CF SLX LTD I expresses high performance using high-performance frame materials. Combined with a special patented glass pearl pigmentation, the carbon structure shines spectacularly through under direct sunlight, creating an effect that’s as eye catching as it is beautiful.

The Ultimate CF SLX LTD II also features a premium finish produced and applied by hand in Germany. The patented glass pearl pigmentation gives the frame exceptional colour saturation and creates constantly changing reflections and a beautiful glittering effect. The secret of the pigmentation lies in its structure: its aluminium oxide platelets have perfectly flat surfaces, which are coated with highly refractive metal oxides.

They may make a bold visual statement, but Ultimate CF SLX LTD models are more than mere works of art. Like all Ultimate CF SLX bikes, they represent road racing performance at a world-class level. Thanks to their incredible stiffness-to-weight figures as well as class-leading riding dynamics created by Canyon’s proven Sport Pro geometry, the Ultimate is well-known and well-loved by high-performance riders all over the world. And the Ultimate CF SLX LTD combines that proven speed with an extra dose of artistic flair.

The two bikes are built around Canyon’s world-class Ultimate CF SLX frame and feature an outstanding set of premium components. Pinpoint 12-speed wireless SRAM Force eTap AXS shifting, including power meter. A light, stiff Canyon CP30 carbon cockpit. And 50 mm deep-section DT Swiss ARC 1400 Dicut carbon wheels, which both perfectly complement the Limited Edition’s overall optics and are wrapped in Continental GP 5000 tyres to deliver top performance at an incredibly low weight.

Each Ultimate CF SLX LTD bike will be available in a limited run of only 50 models, and will go on sale on Tuesday 22 March 2022, exclusively at canyon.com. All bikes will cost €6,199*.
